Chica is an abandoned dog we've taken in until we can find a new home for her, so you may meet her if you're visiting this autumn.

We came across her at the Alquería de Morayma hotel in Cádiar, where, apparently, some guests had left her behind when they left. Unbelievable. She had been surviving on scraps from diners but was very sad and thin.

She's a lovely, affectionate dog. She is clever and playful but doesn't seem to bark. She looks like a small, black Pointer, with a very pretty face. Luckily, she's hasn't had her tail docked. She is now putting on weight and looking rather glamorous.

She loves to run and would suit an active owner.
