Mountain Biking Food and Drink

With Pure Mountains, all meals eaten at the farmhouse and all drinks at the farmhouse are included in the price of your holiday. (Yes, that does mean free beer and wine.) Dinners eaten out and drinks out are not included in the price, but local bars and restaurants are very reasonably priced.

Breakfast is served in the farmhouse kitchen. Usually we have porridge, toast, cereal, orange juice, tea and coffee.

For lunch we have a picnic served from the Land Rover with tables and chairs and consisting of bread, delicious local cheeses, chorizo and the famous local jamón (mountain cured ham), fruit, olives, nuts, buns, biscuits, cold drinks and tea and coffee. We also manage to fit in a couple of tea/coffee breaks during the day's riding.

When we get back to the house we usually have a refreshing cold drink/beer and nibbles.

When we eat in, hearty and delicious dinners are prepared by our chef and eaten outside on the terrace or in the farmhouse kitchen. On other evenings we will eat out at local restaurants.
