We trips throughout the year, as set out in the Schedule.

What type of riding do we offer? A mix of the best of cross country, trail riding, enduro and backcountry adventure. This short film gives a good flavour of the trails.

Our holidays are perfect for keen, experienced mountain bikers who are looking to tackle challenging climbs and demanding descents in the stunning wilderness of the Sierra Nevada. It's practically deserted and a mountain biker's paradise. The terrain includes plenty of singletrack, from the fast and flowing to the steep and rocky. We tend to gain height on double track and descend on singletrack.

The precise nature of the riding will vary, depending on the make-up of the group, the weather and the time of year. We have a huge range of altitude to choose from, from 2200 metre tops to 700 metre valley floors.

We are used to accommodating riders with a range of bike experience on our trips. Please do contact us if you’re at all concerned about the suitability of our trips for you.

With over ten years’ experience of the area, we know the trails intimately. We cycle from the front door (at 1650 metres) straight onto the trails. We usually finish the day much lower and provide a transfer back up the mountain. Keen climbers usually have the option to ride this!

Riding days are from 10am to around 4pm. As you’ll be centre-based, unlike a point to point bike holiday, you’re not under time pressure to get to the next place regardless of weather, punctures, nightfall etc.

The Land Rover provides refreshments, picnic lunch, gear portage, technical back-up and a lift home at the end of the day. On some long climbs, a Land Rover uplift option is available, though not often taken!

Our guides hold mountain first aid certificates and are CTC qualified (see biographies). They tailor the rides to the experience and fitness level of each group, which is a maximum of ten riders.
